Who am I ? 

I am Jonathan Van Linge (JVL), the Secondary Data and Testing Coordinator for Lancaster High School, General Sherman, and Thomas Ewing.  That means, among other things:

I schedule, register, and administer exams such as: ACT, PSAT, A.P., and the End of Course AIR Tests.  I am dedicated to making sure that each student at LHS, GS, and TE have the opportunity to participate in any and all exams that he/she needs and can benefit from.  

Additionally, at the high school level I help students make sure they have earned the needed graduation seals to "show readiness."  This includes our local seals: Fine and Performing Arts, Community Service, and Student Engagement.  These seals, in particular, involve more in-depth tracking by the student, counselor, and myself due to the fact that they often involve extra-curricular and other activities done outside of school hours.   

For those students who may not intend on going to college after high school, I coordinate numerous pre-apprenticeship programs which we offer at LHS.  These programs not only help students earn credits and seals towards graduation, but they provide training and skills that are desirable across numerous industries.  Many of these programs will translate directly to employment opportunities for our students.
